Mount Hood to the Coast Relay

So these wild and crazy peeps out here have this 197 mile relay race every year from the peaks of Mt. Hood to the Pacific Ocean. Coincidentally their connection to the Pacific happens to be right here in sleepy little Seaside. Apparently this dumps about 10k more people here than normal. A bunch of them are camping in our campground.....

Sho' am glad we gots a porta-crib! :-) Supposed to rain a mite tomorrow.....

Yeah, so we thought after dinner tonite we would ride down to the Promenade in Seaside. Runs along the coast for about 4 miles I think. They like dogs here so your dogs are welcome to walk it with you. Only problem is the relay dumps about 30k extra people in this lil' burg. Parking......yeah right.... more likely to see monkey's fly out a butt......

Decided to go back over there today, a couple times......... lots of those folks still have not left. Maybe tomorrow.

Rained all day today and not going to quit until sometime tomorrow. WiFi in the rain is flakey. We'll check in later....
