Got up today. That's always a good thing by the way.....

Decided to head off and find a beach..... Went south towards Cannon Beach, Hug Point, and Mazanita. Found a beach at Hug Point....




K&FTWD thought it did not suck.....

This is haystack rock. Appears in many pics/movies....... It's WAY cooler in person so to speak...









And it's close neighbors.....










You've all seen pics of the Oregon coast I'm sure. There is no way those shots do any justice to the real thing. Neatern' grits comes to mind for a description.....

Down the beach through the mist......








Most of these beaches are actually smallish coves along the coast separated by mountains. Here's a shot from an overlook on top of one of them...

Beautiful clear sunshiny day except for the mist along the water.








Anybody guess what this is?












A freaky thing about this area is on a bunch of signs all along the coast....

How fast can ya climb? :-)
