Still Kicking on the coast

Still here in the Bandon area. Had to run back up to North Bend yesterday so we could get some prescriptions filled at a Wally World. Wally is not a well liked company around here and there are not many of them.

Yesterday was cold and cloudy all day long. Drizzled a little but no real rain. Here's a shot of the Bandon Old Town from across the river.

Can't tell it from this shot, but the wind off the sea was rocking!

If you get down this way, don't eat the Mexican place in Old Town. It sucks..... :-)
Plus they don't have any Camarones cocktail!

We took Forrest over the beach after we left here so he could fertilize the sand fleas. Was too wet to take the camera. It was low tide so we got to climb on the rocks. Was amazed that he followed me out on one of them. I think it was the possiblity that he could catch a sea gull that did it instead of any worry about me though.

So when we got back, Karen decided to make sure her box of rocks was still intact....

We have verified that she is NOT dumber than a box of rocks. The box of rocks is....and I know this is a stretch..... yep, they are dumber than even Forrest........

So today, we ride a bit south down the coast to see what we see. We are pretty close to the western most point of Oregon so we might head out that way. Hit a few more geocaches, poop on the beach..... you know the little pleasures.....
