Headed down and up to Mt. Ranier yesterday. Cool ride, cool views, cool temps....... damn cool place to be.....
See. Beautiful mountain. This is an area I'd like to do some backcountry hiking/camping in.
Ride up was not as hairy as the ride up the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier, but only because there were huge(see K, I can spell) DougFir trees to stop the fall. Lindsay was still puckered up! ;-)
Long ride but a nice day to do it. We have had no rain since Lindsay got here. She could be good for Seattle and the PNW if they want LESS rainfall.
Today we headed north to the Tulalip Indian reservation and their outlet stores so the squaws could shop. They did. I drove the truck. After we did that we came back down to downtown and the space needle so we could pucker Lindsay up some more. We did....
We also did the Science Fiction Museum and the Music Museum after the Needle. Both were worth the price of admission.
Tomorrow is flying day for Lindsay. Won't be fun saying bye, we've had fun with her this week. Hope she takes back some good memories from the PNW.......
Night ya'l....

Great Pictures. Can you see Mt. St Helens from Rainier? Good down town pics too. Place has grown since i was there in the 80's.
We have had rain for the past 3 or 4 days. Got a little depression brewing down around Cuba that we got our eye on. May have to hunker down in a few days.
See ya later,
pop
Wow, the views are spectacular. All I really remember of Seattle is Sea-Tac and spending a few nights there waiting for a flight out--Lindsay, I know just how you felt!
Looks like we're finally going to get caught up on our rain. The weather guys are saying it/she (Fay) will be a hurricane by 8pm Tuesday--just about the time it gets over Dixie County.
Watch the traffic idiots, my little gypsies.
