Glacier National again

So we went back up the hill today. We had planned to go way early but didn't although we went earlier than yesterday. Excellent ride again. I'm gonna stick some movies in this post of the day. They should stream down so they won't take two days to download pop!

Here's the first, a shot of the road going up.

Here's the weeping wall.....

Logan Pass.......

East Glacier and headed down the mountain......

The movies are cool. To think Mom worries about me answering my cell while driving, but she's not worried about you recording videos out of the window while driving up the side of a huge mountain... :-)

love,
me :-)

You can't see the blinders and duct tape in the movies. Who says she's not worried!

Love me.....

The weeping wall shots remind mf the trips we took in Tehran up the aborz mountains to ski. Nice videos you are right, only took a day and a half to download. :) Pop

Pop, the rivers around here remind me of the one we attempted to fish up in the iranian mountains too!

and get a faster connection.... :-)

The videos are amazing. The road looks kinda narrow on the first one..is there one way up and another way down or is it the bravest one goes first? Anyway, great stuff; although it does make me a little nervous to see my little gypsies clinging to the side of a mountain (not hills like we got down here!)

Jude, there is a section of the road that is being worked on. That section is one lane only. They stop traffic and use a pilot truck to guide up and down that stretch. I have to fold in the mirrors on both sides of the truck though to keep from knocking them off on either the walls or the vehicle that's passing. The road was built in 1932 when stuff was not as wide as it is now...

Beautiful road though.
