Ain't too shabby. It's 21:28pm and the sun has gone down. There is a solid breeze blowin' that appears to be pretty consistant around here, day and night. At night it cools things down. During the day it moves things around. :-)
What strikes me the most is the quiet. City quiet anyway. There are birds that make noise here, day and night. There are katydids and other bugs at night that make noise, but not the kind of noise that the cities make. Peaceful noise.
I've spent the last couple hours out on the patio here, with Jose', to start until he ran out, and now a blended canadian friend and the sounds of a south Texas night. I can still smell the salt air of the coast, even though I'm about 80 miles from it, I can still feel it in the air, and I can taste it. What I don't feel is the stress. Ain't life grand!
Night kids. Don't sweat the small stuff and it's all small stuff.
Oh yeah, we ate lunch today in a place called Casa Mesa. We were the token white folks there. Awesome south of the border food. You should try it if you are here.. :-)

Yeah, it's amazin' the shit Jose' will make ya say.... found some new shit today that even be better! It's El CharrO Tequila Reposado.
