Port Mansfield

So we took a drive down to Port Mansfield today on the recommendation of a lady we talked to at the State Park yesterday. Not not we would call a resort destination. Apparently the fishing is really good around the area. There was a damn big marina with a lot of boat slips full of boats that looked like folks lived elsewhere, stored their boats there and came down on vacations and weekends to fish. We did run across all of these deer behind _the_ hotel on at the port. Cool.

Purty lil buggers. alot like Key Deer in size. There was a BUNCH of 'em too.

The country out here is pretty much like this. LOTS of things that have sharp points on them. You can eat the flowerdy ends though.....

Don't want to dog 'bama and all, but one of the things we noted on our drive out through the Texas backcountry today was the lack of trash and garbage on the roadsides. Clean. Folks out here aren't as big a pigs as those further east of here.

Tomorrow we are going to head to Rio Grande City for the day. Further north of here which is where we will be heading as soon as we get the AC situation worked out. Y'all take care now, ya heah?
