Carlsbad itself, the city...... eh, nothing to write home about. We are shuckin' north to Albuquerque tomorrow via Roswell.

Starts out as a kinda small hole in the face of the mountain. This is the ONLY thing small about it though.

Know what you mean about the caves. Had the chance to see them in my early youth. I was a young airman and was temporary duty at the Air Force Base in Carlsbad which was a SAC base for B36 bombers. As you say the caves are awesome!! Now you better keep your eyes peeled for UFO's around Roswell!!If you see the hair rise on forrest get outa there fast!

ROSWELL!!!!, we may never see Mike and Karen again. Mike, if they get you, look out for the probes. I am going to have to get out west one day the country looks beautiful. Ya'll take care and keep on having fun. By the way, you better get to a beach soon or Forrest is gonna get mad with you, his favorite hobby on this trip so far is lost.
