Mobile, Abalama

We'll we made it to Mobile unscathed. Actually we are in Coden Alabama at Alabama Port RV park, or is it Bay Port RV park... More on that later.


Michael and Michelle came over last night. They are both doing well. Michelle is slap near bustin' at the seams! If you stuck a pin in her, she'd 'splode! ;-) Was good to see them both again. We'll be heading over to their place, probably tomorrow so Michael can cook us a gormet meal! Stay tuned.

Forrest the wonder dog is still working on getting adjusted to this traveling thing. He's rides the truck great, but not being able to just take off out the door and bark at something in the backyard is causing him some grief. He did get to go "smellin' " on Dauphin Island today. Got to place chase with some gulls and TONS of new smells. Was funny as hell watchin' him.

We did some geocaching while there and found a cool little park full of HUGH live oaks. Forrest had a ball sniffin' his way through there.

Drove up to Bayou La Batre also. An interesting little town. More there than on the Island. Also drove by Bellingrath Gardens. We did not go in today but will probably hit it again tomorrow. Karen and I have been there before but neither of us can remember when. CRS.......
