The river is beautiful and the park we are in is pretty decent too. There is a fair amount of "old" florida still left here but it's getting harder and harder to find. Not much industry here and the median income is very low. You can ride around the county and find some beautiful natural places and around the next bend, you think you hear banjo's playing and you wonder if you should stop at that stop sign.... :-)
But don't let that scare you off, the fishing can be good here!

We hope you are having a good time is sure as hell looks like it (i am a little jealous).Next time you get back to Huntsville please let us know because dinner and drinks are on us. Hope you are able to put all those fish on the extinction list.
Glad you're keeping up the blog even though you're back in our neck of the woods, I still love reading it and looking at all the great pics. I loved the one of Dad with the fish!!

Thanks Moose. It's gonna be hard finding writing stuff unless Pop gets off his ass and starts catchin' some fish. I'm getting ready to stop waiting on him and fill the boat myself! See ya Christmas....
