Jerome Az and other parts around it

Took a drive up the mountain today to Jerome Az, at one time the fourth largest city in Arizona. This was back in the 1800's though. It was a copper mining town that very nearly died when the copper went bust. It got down to 100 souls and was basically a ghost town. Now it's an artsy fartsy community that is pretty dadgum cool......

Nice, open air feel to some of their shops..... :-)
Their town is built on the side of a mountain and it's road(s) are a switchback snake along the side. Beautiful views.
See, told ya....

Oh yeah, Pop, Flagstaff was Woody Mountain Rv Park. Sedona is Lo Lo Mai Springs Rv Park. Flagstaff sucked, Lo Lo Mai is a good park......

Had lunch at 5280' of altitude, or if you are doing the math, one mile high, at the Mile High Cafe. It were great too....

We also did Montezuma's Castle today. It is an indian pueblo up in the limestone bluffs. Neatern' grits...

I have many more pics that I want to post, but this connection is just driving me nuts so I'm gonna wait and hope it's better in Tucson tomorrow.

More when I have a good connection...
