Spokane

Nothing much to report today. We took a ride over to Spokane after we decided to drag it outta bed. Spokane did not impress me much. They had a pretty decent park downtown that we took the mutt for a walk in. Outside of that, it was just a crappy biggish city. I'm sure Spokanians would argue that with me, but I'll be looking forward to pulling the portacrib through it tomorrow on the way to Seattle.

Spent the rest of the day napping, reading, and cleaning up the rig for the next move. We had dinner tonite at a place called The Cedars. It's a floating resturant right down from the RV park. FuFu place, but the food was good. It's sits at the mouth of the Spokane river and Lake Coeur D'Alene so the view was pretty decent.

Big storms in the area tonite so it could get a little rocky and rolley in the crib. Nothing real serious according the weather guesser's on the toob.

The skeeters here are the worst I've ever seen......anywhere. As a general rule, skeeters don't bother me. These lil mugs have a short eating season and they make the most of it. They like a deet cocktail before they eat too.......

Sometime I'd like to come back here and go further up the panhandle and fish some of their small rivers. I'd also like to see the desert in the southern end of the state. Met some folks from Boise over at Glacier who say it's a desert down there.

That's about it from here today. We are leaving at 0daylightthirty in the am heading west by northwest for about 333 miles. Will check in when we hit Bothell, Washington....

Sayanora...........
