Well, we lit today in Coeur D'Alene (koor d leen) Idaho. Today we travelled through the Blackfeet Nation (they don't have black feet), the Flathead Nation (they don't have flat heads), and are now in the Kootenai Nation (they don't have koots). These indians should be pissed at the naming conventions!
Anyhow, we are here for about three days. Not sure how picturesque this place will be I'll post what I find. We found a Sushi bar for lunch after we got here and it wasn't bad. That's a good start for our Udaho visit!
Stay tuned......

So what Coeur D'Alene, sounds french, noted for? Maybe taters? If you find out let us know. Glad you got a Sushi fix...Take care on you trip over to Seattle. I'll be waiting on the shipment of dungeness crabs. :)
Love you, Pop
The best thing it's noted for, in my opinion, is Pappy Boyington!
Outside of that, it claims to be the lake city. Pretty lil town!
Ironic, I just reread Boyington's book, "Black sheep" the other day in books a zillion. Guess I missed the fact that he was from Coeur D'Alene. He was a great pilot and war ace who got a shitty deal from our government.
Pop
Yep, I read his book a year or so again myself. A fine man, a great pilot, and a great marine.
