There is plenty to do in the area. Skiing is as close as the eastern slopes of the Sandia's just outside Albuquerque and world class stuff is 141 miles up the road in Taos, which is where we are going next. Fishing is good around here as there are several rivers and lakes in the area. Summertime water skiing is good. 4 wheeling and 4x4ing in the deserts outside of town seems to be big here too, as is hiking, mountain biking etc.
The city itself has everything you'd want in a city. Good resturants, shoping, etc......
Matt/Jim, if you are reading this, there are crystal clear inland lakes that are definitely diveable, probably year round.
Jim/Carol, get just a little ways outside the city at night and the sky is bigger than you can imagine. You could count the stars until the world stops turning and not get to the end of them. You can scoop up a handful of sand from the desert floor and let trickle out of your hand while looking up at those stars and try to figure out just where in between all that we fit in. Freeky deeky shit mon......
BTW, been reading the HSV times online. Carole, hope you arent' on that letter list!
On a completely different note, Karen got a hankerin' to go to the Hispanic grocery that's a couple miles from the park. Pretty cool store. They have a hell of a meat department with stuff like precut and mixed up fajita makings, chorizo...etc...... 12oz cans of tomato/clam juice for bloody mary's, peppers that'll make you sweat just looking' at 'em.....
Oh, yeah, Michael, they also have.......
Ummmmm good. Wish you had some... :-)

Not bad for south of the border brew. It's just corona brewed a lil longer and with a lil more donkey piss in it.....
Just checking in to see if you had a fun 4th. Had Momma over for ribs--she has 4 teeth and goes through ribs like a chain saw! It's not what ya got...it's how you use it!
Happy Fireworks, my little gypsies.
