Custer South Dakota

We lit in Custer SD yesterday. No phone and no internet connection at the portacrib so communication will be spotty for the next week at least.

The drive up here........simply beautiful. South East Wyoming is amazing country. Grass plains and you can see for miles and miles and miles......... We followed some train tracks for probably 50 miles or so. Some of the trains were 2 miles+ long. Hauling coal.

Saw hundreds more prong horn antelope and deer.

Anyone remember this?
Yep, they still have 'em out here!

So today, we went to see one of our National Monuments. It was awesome to see....
You just can't imagine how cool until standing in front of it.

A monument to our government.

A monument to how our government treats us!

And that'll wrap up this installment. We'll try and check in in a day or two. The Black Hills area is cool. Matt, You and Ang need to get your scooter up here and ride!

Hey, I have been without a computer for about a week so I am just catching up on your adventures. The west country looks really awsom. Mike the Sturgis Bike Rally is August 4-10 so you might want to get out of the area befor then or it is going to get really crowded and the camp site prices go through the roof. Angela said ya'll should stop back at Taos on your way home and do the sking you talked about. Glad ya'll are having fun, I'm jealous that I'm still here working. Talk to ya later. Matt
