Groceries

Had to get groceries today. Round trip was better than 90 miles. We took a ride a little west of here to found Judge Roy Bean. We found him. He's dead and stinks to high heaven......

We also found....

And...

And these things. They are wild along the canyons of the Pecos River. This a picture of their asses. Karen took it.. :-)

And here a couple shots of Lake Amistad. This lake is probably the biggest lake I've ever seen. Borders Texas and Mexico. Beautiful color....

And that's that. Tomorrow we push on towards New Mexico.

So, out of the (life's a bitch) pictures on the left of the page, which one is Mike, it's kinda hard to tell between Forrest and Mike. LOL Matt

Still looks pretty empty to me. Are you sure you're still in the US of A?? Speaking of things with multple legs...seen any trantulas? Don't let ole Forest get his nose into one of those little numbers.
Happy desert my little gypsies.

Jude,

Two miles or so further west and we would not be in the US of A! We leave the border area in a couple hours though. Headed into New Mexico.

No Trantulas or Scorpions either. Some really cool Grouse, and tiny little owl, deer, rabbits though. And Lizards.....lots of lizards about.....

Matt, I had trouble picking him out also and I'm his daddy, I think. Pretty sure I am cause he's got my gypsy roving genes. I bet New Mexico's gonna be a fun tour. Give us some good pictures of the caves and don't get close to all that atomic toxic waste they store in them.Love you, Pop
