Sitting at Bayou Segnette enjoying the sunset and watchin' the swamp rabbits make more swamp rabbits. Have WiFi here but's pretty slow and flaky. That'll make this short and sweet unless it perks up.
Went into NOLA today and had breakfast at Cafe DuMonde. It's still just as good as it always is. Farted around a while until Gazebo Cafe opened so we could get a couple of their world famous Bloody Mary's. Worth the wait! Moseyed around deepter into the quarter to do appetizers at Acme Oyster House. Awesome dozen. Then moved over to the Gumbo shop for Lunch. I must say that it did not suck either! On the way out bought a couple t shirts and stopped by Central Grocery for a Muffaletta to bring home for supper.
Was a decent day although I still say that New Orleans stinks. It's just plain nasty.

Ah, brings back some good memories of when we lived there and did the things you are doing. Hope you had a dozen or two for me. Good pictures. Hope we can go back the to the big easy someday and revisit the quarter.
Take Care son,
Pop
Added a couple more pics tonite. WiFi at Bayou Segnette was WAY to slow.
Did I see a pic of Blue Dog?? That dude is so awesome...Blue Dog everywhere. I'm sure he's got a bunch of new ones by now. Somewhere in all these boxes (no comments, please) there's a book of his stuff.
I miss the Quarter and the food and the drinks and the music and all of it. Glad y'all had a good time.
Yep, shot one somewhere off the quarter. Saw a bluedog resturant somewhere around Lake Charles on the way over to T. Too.....
Awwww NOLA, some great memories there (and some not so great one's, but we won't talk about those). Man, that Beignet looks so good. Oh, brother, if you keep eating like that we are going to have haul your A$$ back home on a Semi truck....;)
I love you and it sounds like you are having an awesome time.
p.s. Judy, don't unpack the boxes, hopefully you will be back up here soon.
